Today is our one year anniversary in Alaska!
This was our first glimpse at the beauty surrounding Homer last June.

We’ve seen all four seasons cycle, bears, moose, a wolf, a few caribou, and so much beautiful scenery. One never grows weary of it all! We’ve been awed, inspired, stuck in the mud, stuck in the snow, on adventures we never even dreamed of… Alaska is a good fit for us. Being surrounded by nature, learning, exploring, living and loving…. a great way of life!
We are looking forward to new adventures this summer! Spending time at the beach searching for treasures beyond measure, maybe doing a little fishing… who knows??

Happy Anniversary, my loves…It has been a very long year for me, but I know the excitement of living and loving there has made it fly for you…I would not wish it any different, although I miss you more than words can express, your happiness makes it worth it…in my mind, my arms are around you all…I LOVE YOU! Let the adventure carry on!

Happy Anniversary! It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed! I’m so happy that you and your kiddoes are happy and living out your Alaska dreams. I think about you a lot and really miss the more frequent, silly online conversations that we used to have, but I enjoy reading your blog and “watching” your adventures and knowing that you are happy. Take care, girlfriend! I’m still “here” and you’re still “there”, and we can still meet in the middle through cyberspace every now and then. Love you! ❤
